Oddquine's Moray in Words and Pictures

Lossiemouth Seatown from Prospect Terrace

Seatown was part of the Old Town, developed in the 1760s as a river port to replace Spynie, by then land-locked as a result of silting by storms. It was cut off from the main area by the canal from Spynie Loch, and became home to fishermen from along the Banffshire coast.
