Oddquine's Moray in Words and Pictures

The Museum Square, Forres

The Square lies at the top of Tolbooth Street. The building facing you is the Falconer Museum. It was built through the sponsorship of local and ex-pat Forresians, particularly Hugh Falconer, a scientist of national stature, after whom it was named. It houses an eclectic collection of artefacts from fossils to the old Town Provost's Robes and Chain, and "Corries" memoribilia, donated by the family of the late Roy Williamson.
